MY TOP 11 TIPS TO CONSIDER WHEN YOU'RE TRYING TO GO ON A DIET OR CHANGING TO A HEALTHIER LIFESTYLE.



Going on a diet or even changing your lifestyle to one that is healthy is probably one of the hardest things to do and i am speaking from experience . I have been on so many diets , on and off . some worked , some didn't . stuck to some , did not stick to some , the list goes ooooonnnnnn......

     These are my top 11 tips to consider when trying to either go on a diet or change your lifestyle:


  1. Do it for yourself: So many people go on diets or try to change their lifestyle to please other people or so that someone can accept them more . The thing you have to put into consideration is that person will not be there forever . The person you need to please is you! Be selfish when it comes to matters like this . Think " me! me !me !" when you decide that you are truly doing this for you then you can move on to the next step.
  2. Stop Procastinating : " Oh  i will do it tomorrow" " I think i will start next month" .... I know it is hard not to procastinate but try . Instead of planning it , just jump ahead and start!
  3. Do it! : Like i said before Just do it ! 
  4. Find a Distraction : This is particularly for diets . It is hard to just stop your normal routine and start a new diet plus food is very addictive and to be honest very comforting but try and find a distraction . If you're a student , do some homework, read that book that you've put off reading just because you did'nt like the beginning . If you work, do that piece of work that isn't due until 3 months time , read more about your career . watch movies, play games , visit friends , take a walk . Anything that will distract you from that piece of pizza in the fridge because the feeling after eating that pizza is far worse than befor because you know you have let your'e self down and remember its all about YOU !
  5. Drink loads of water: Make water your best drink and best friend ! it'll help you fill your tummy so you dont feel as hungry and at the same time flush out all the yucky things you don't want to know that is is in your body .
  6. Have your future goal in your mind: Obviously before you even started thinking about doing this , you must have a better version image of you in your head ! If you don't , well you are not ready yet . Have this image of you in those size whatever jeans you've always wanted to fit into and believe me ! That will be your motivation!
  7. Plan your meals: Have a diary of food. Keep tab on what you eat everyday . That way you're not just eating for eating sake , you finally have a purpose and reason to consume .
  8. If you flop one day ,one week , one month  , keep going !!
  9. GO ON KEEP ON TRYING ! Rome wasn't built in a day!
  10. Believe in yourself ! you are the number one MVP!
  11. Dont you ever give up!! 
             Hehe! yea those are my 11 tips . I probably need them also because its easier said than done . However goodluck to anyone who is in this situation . Wish you the best of luck . I understand how you feel . I definately need to follow these 11 tips .
