Okay so Racism "officially ended about 200 years
ago. Lets forget about that but then something that is going on now that I
think is far worse is "intra racial discrimination". It is bad enough
that for more than 200 years our ancestors constantly suffered oppression from
white people then but now that we are meant to pick up the broken pieces and
move on, we are creating divisions within our own race . #TEAMLIGHTSKIN,#TEAMCARAMELSKIN etc.. ooh and even
#TEAMMAHOGANYSKIN !!!! Come on? Really? We are all BLACK, PROUD AND
BEAUTIFUL HUMAN BEINGS. I have heard stories of black guys who openly admit
that they would never date a dark-skinned girl. What is wrong with a dark-skinned
girl? Isn't she a human being ? Why do people choose to destroy the self esteem
of these girls? Making them believe that appearance is everything? That they
are constantly judged by the colour of their skin? Can you not remember the
late Martin Luther King jnr's speech? He said he looks forward to a day where
black people will not be judged by the colour of their skin but by the content
of their character! He was referring to the white people then but little did he
know that the discrimination would be within his own race! This is not fair !
People need to stop this . Young black girls would have their self esteem
broken even before they know the meaning of the word. Appearance is not
everything and never forget ! You are first of all a Human being before being
Black or White or any race ! Stop discrimination! Learn to Love each other!
