I'M SORRY/BODY IMAGE ISSUES/INSECURITIES/CONFIDENCE !

Hey guys ! Okay I know I've been away for too long but like I explained in my YouTube video which I hope you guys checked out , I am finding it hard to juggle both . I need inspiration plus I don't want to repeat myself on my YouTube channel and blog . Anyway lately I've been having what I would call self love issues , confidence issues or whatever you may want to call it . Basically I have been "hating" myself . As you all know or I think you would have discovered; I AM FAT and I have been fat for as long as I can remember . I've always struggled with my weight . Been on so many diets , lost , added, etc . So last year I lost a lot of weight though the Cambridge diet which I'm planning on starting again and which I have succeeded once , tried to start again twice and failed twice . I've been thinking a lot about my weight , the health risks , the societal risks ,(yes to me they're risks )etc .I recently went to the doctor to do a full check up and according to the report , I'm healthy but the only problem is my weight . The thing is I know I'm overweight and I know I need to loose weight . Now as you know I love Youtube ,you tubers ,and so on .so one of my favourite you tubers is 
Chanel Boateng .I'm posting this from my phone so I'll link her channel later . Anyway she's a plus size blogger and vlogger like myself and I've been watching her channel for some time . She's done so many videos on body image and self confidence and I I'm like " wow she's so brave" , because I'll find it hard to talk about such a sensitive topic like that but u know what , I'm starting not to care .i'm a selfie person. I hardly take full pictures because I feel ashamed or self conscious or anything u wanna call it but you know what I love myself and I know it's a working progress . Thus self confidence thing , it doesn't come that easy but I'm trying . Im gonna try my best to stay healthy and I'm not gonna do it for anyone . Doing it for myself . Now back to my diet talk . The Cambridge diet , why I failed , because I did it for the wrong reasons . I did it because I wanted the compliments , not because I wanted to do it for myself and that's something Chanel talks about .it has to start from you well in this case me .now this picture above , I just took it a couple of mins ago .i know some people might say "oh it's because you're wearing black ,black makes u look slimmer","oh it's the angle" bla bla bla .i don't care ! The fact is that I am proud of myself for taking that picture today because for like almost a month , I have been avoiding a mirror because I thought I looked disgusting and today I felt pretty and I know I am beautiful and am working on a better me , so please allow me to grow in peace .im sorry this blog post is all over the place but it's exactly the way I'm thinking,I'm writing . EVOLUTION SERIES 1 EPISODE 1

Hehe i'm sure you're probably wondering "hmmm which series is this? "" Have i watched it ?" " Is it new ?"  Is it a series ? Yes . Is it on TV ? No . Have you watched it ? You're about to watch the first episode Live!

Well i chose to call this series Evolution and it is simply the change i want to go through . I want to become a healthier , focused Aima . Recently i decided i would stop dieting and finally change my lifestyle gradually and that s what i'm doing . My friend Leah who is also a blogger and i would leave the link to her blog and also her Youtube channel, anyway she also wants to go through this change although sh'es already Team Fitfam ! Lol but people have their reasons . So i said ok let's do this together . we have been planning meals , going to the gym together through out this week . We went to the gym on monday and today is the second gym session . I dont want to go to the gym everydsay because this is a gradual process and it takes time for me to get into that routine so anyway today we had dinner , went to the gym and then had a red berry smoothie .   This company sent me their eye gel to review .According to the packet , the ingredients are organic Aloe, Matrixyl 3000 , palmitoyi , stem cells and etc . Also , it is made in the USA and is 75% organic .according to the packet , it also says it eliminates Dark circles and Puffiness and soothes and softens the Eye Area  and it will produce Dramatically Radiant and youthful Eyes . I have been using this product for a while now although not everyday because to be honest i forget sometimes . I naturally have dark circles around my eyes. I can't really tell if they have reduced or as it says if the dark circles have been eliminated but one thing i have noticed while using this product is that it makes my eyes look mire vibrant esoecially when i have not had enough sleep and my eyes are puffy , instead of using a concealer , i just put this on and it reduces the puffiness . OKAY I FINALLY FINALLY BROKE!

        I could not just keep to it today! Even after i moved to step 2 on the cambridge diet . TEMPTATION! I had 2 packets of plantain chips and a can of Pepsi Max! I feel dissapointed but at the same time happy i didnt have any major bad food like pizza or chocolate or something! Oh well tomorrow is going to be a better day ! I'll keep you posted ! Am Human! Lol ! Hope you guys are having a fantastic day!

A LITTLE CHANGE TO THE DETOX CHALLENGE....

Hehe i knew this was going to happen ! I broke! I did not go completely away from my target but i changed a bit. You know how i was doing the sole source , thats only cambridge diet and no protein, well, i had protein. I had moi-moi : a nigerian dish. It's literally bean cake. It's really healthy because it's steamed and also my mum cooks it in a really healthy way! I had that with croasted chicken stew! Also healthy! Anyway i think this is how it's going to be from now . 3 Cambridge products plus a little protein! Just thought i should update you !

UPDATE : DAY 1 DETOX CHALLENGE/TEMPTATIONS

          Yes I’ve made it ! Just had a warm cup of lemon infused water then my chocolate Cambridge shake . Not bad at all. I don’t feel hungry YET! Lol! Do you know i had totally forgotten that today was Easter Sunday! I was just going through my Instagram notifications and i was seeing Easter chocolate bunnies and eggs everywhere *sad face* Before i went to make my shake i had already started smelling this lovely food ! Today my mother decided to make Ogbono Soup with all the meat and Shaki! For those of you that do not know, Ogbono Soup is a Nigerian dish and Shaki is meat that most West Africans as far as i know put in their dishes. Anyway delicious delicious! and it's my favourite Soup!Anyway , I overcame temptation and walked out of the kitchen with just the smell but i am proud of myself! So far so good! Wish me more luck! Bye!

   Good Morning World!!                                                                                                                         It's 10:29 am here and I just woke up . You know that feeling when because you have something to do the next day or something you're starting , you almost dream of it . That's what happened . I dreamt of Cambridge shakes all flying over my head and lemon infused water ! Lol ! Anyway so I'll soon get ready and go and have my first shake but I think I am going to have lemon infused water first just to set my tummy right and then follow with a bottle of water and a shake . I will keep you updated ! I can do this !!🙌🙌

3 DAY DETOX CHALLENGE!!

Hello Again! If you have been reading my recent Blog posts , you will know am all about this Healthy new me thing and in the process of  Re    constructing My life . Anyway let's get to business! 
I am currently on Easter Holliday and I planned to face this Cambridge diet because its easier for me to do it when I am at home but I have not been able to keep to it . its the 4th of April now and I have till the 19th to go back to school. I want to first start a detox with lemon infused water, my all time favourite Boo tea and to kick start the Cambridge diet , I want to start on sole source for 1 week . The sole source is when you take 4 Cambridge diet products and 2 litres of water a day. Normally I would be on step 2 where you take 3 Cambridge products and very little protein and 2 to 3 litres of water a day but because i want to reach ketosis fast, I want to start with Sole source and i think it will be a good idea to keep a diary during this process and tell you guys how each day is going for me. I started half way today because i had already had noodles this morning but I am just going to take lemon infused water throughout today and green tea and also boo tea so it can help flush out all the toxins in my body. For those of you that do not know what ketosis means, I will explain that and the whole concept of the Cambridge diet in another Blog post . Wish me good luck!!

LOOSING WEIGHT FOR ME OR FOR THEM !?

  Okay this is a real problem for me . When it comes to my weight and health , i have tried and failed so many times over and over again that sometimes i think my parents are even tired of me . I feel the reason i have failed so many times and always find myself putting on  the weight i have lost is because i always want to loose weight for everyone except myself and for every reason except my own personal reason . Dont get me wrong. I am not saying that i do not want to do it for me but i keep on putting other people's opinion on why i should loose weight but mine . I think i am going to stop listening to what everyone has to say and do this for myself . I hope this is helpful for anyone wanting to loose weight , get healthier or change their lifestyle . Remember do it for you . Stop listening to everyone else .
